Thanks to all who helped with the move. We finally made it into our new home on Pleasant Street. We are so lucky to have found a home that is walking distance to campus, on a very safe street, within our budget, and fun for the kids. We even have ceiling fans in both bedrooms, which Paulo can appreciate. My favorite feature of the historical home is the huge balcony which is surrounded by enough trees and shrubs that we have plenty of privacy. Our dining table is actually out there on the balcony. It really feels like a kind of paradise. By the way, Paulo likes to call this palm tree "fireworks palm tree." He's so smart.
